Qualifications

• UAE/GCC construction experience preferred.

• Knowledge of drawings, BOQs, specifications, and quantity measurements.
• Experience in business development or client coordination is a plus.
• Ability to identify upcoming projects, tenders and RFQs.
• Strong relationships with developers and contractors are advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and tendering docs.
• Willingness to travel within UAE; UAE Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements and schedules.
• Coordinate with PMs, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, productivity, quality and progress.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specs and project requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and assist with quantity verification.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly site progress reports.
• Coordinate RFIs, inspections, material approvals and technical submissions.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
• Support testing, snagging, completion and handover.
• Identify new business opportunities in civil construction, marine, roads, utilities, demolition and related sectors; research tenders and RFQs.
• Develop relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors and potential clients.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, site visits and BD activities.
• Generate new leads and convert opportunities into enquiries and projects.
• Follow up on quotations, tenders, RFQs, proposals and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Tendering/Commercial Department for project info.
• Support client prequalification, vendor registration and onboarding.
• Maintain strong project opportunity pipeline.
• Monitor market trends and upcoming projects.
• Prepare reports to management on progress, meetings, leads, tenders and values.
• Achieve project execution and business development KPIs.

• Follow up on quotations, tenders, RFQs, proposals and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Tendering Commercial Department for project information, scope, quantities and technical inputs.
• Support client prequalification, vendor registration and contractor onboarding.
• Maintain and regularly update the strong Business Development Project Opportunity Pipeline strong.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and upcoming construction projects.
• Prepare regular reports to management covering strong site progress client meetings leads tenders quotations follow-ups and potential project values strong.
• Achieve assigned strong project execution and business development KPIs strong.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, marine, or related projects.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in site execution and project coordination.
• Good knowledge of civil construction methods, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and quantity measurements.
• Experience in business development, client coordination, lead generation, or construction sales will be an advantage.
• Ability to identify upcoming projects, tenders, RFQs, and subcontracting opportunities.
• Strong relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, and construction companies will be an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to conduct client meetings and site visits independently.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to convert leads into business opportunities.
• Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and construction/tendering documentation.
• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE for site visits and client meetings.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, commercially aware, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage both site engineering responsibilities and business development activities.
• Strong reporting, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Candidates with experience in roads, infrastructure, utilities, marine works, demolition, earthworks, retaining walls, and waterfront projects are highly preferred.
