Job summary

Guildhall is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer for a live high-rise site in Dubai. You will own day-to-day scheduling, procurement, quality and subcontractor management, reporting to the Project Manager.

You will mobilise resources, coordinate with consultants, and drive safety and site close-out on completion. 10+ years of high-rise civil, commercial or industrial construction experience is required.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree, plus professional certification where applicable.
• 10+ years high-rise civil, commercial or industrial construction experience.
• Direct experience supervising major construction sites, not office-based only.
• Strong scheduling, cost reporting and subcontractor claims management skills.
• Certified Engineer (Unlimited Floors) status is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day schedule, procurement and quality on a live high‑rise site
• Prepare monthly manpower and material outlooks with the Project Manager
• Review subcontractor progress, resolve variance reports and claims
• Coordinate with consultants on inspections, drawings and submittals
• Monitor site safety performance and recommend procedural improvements
• Compile as‑built drawings and close‑out documentation on completion

About the Role

Guildhall is running this search for a Grade A main contractor delivering high-rise civil, commercial and industrial projects across the UAE. The Project Engineer will own day-to-day schedule, procurement, quality and subcontractor management on a live high-rise site in Dubai, reporting to the Project Manager. The client needs a hands‑on engineer to mobilise resources and keep a major build on track through its next phase. It is a site-based delivery seat for someone who has directly run high‑rise site packages, not only planned or consulted on them.
