Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Coordinator (Emirati) to join our team and support the CS group in administering the day-to-day activities on an infrastructure project.

You will coordinate with site teams, assist in reviewing drawings and models, prepare coordination drawings and logs, attend meetings, and help ensure safety practices and on-site quality throughout the road and infrastructure works.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of construction and engineering works.
• Good English communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site teams to gather technical data and as-built information.
• Assist in reviewing drawings/models to identify clashes and issues.
• Prepare and update coordination drawings, logs, and reports.
• Attend coordination meetings, record minutes, and follow up on actions.
• Support review of shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
• Report to the RE / Asst.Resident Engineer and assist in coordinating the construction of roads and infrastructure works and associated items.
• Coordinate with Parsons’ design engineers for resolution of related issues.
• Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.
• Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
• Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
• Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
