Job summary

Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Junior Stakeholder Coordinator (Arabic Speaker) to support engineers and project managers in coordinating with authorities and stakeholders on infrastructure projects.

You will engage with Abu Dhabi authorities, monitor submissions, report status, and apply your civil engineering background and bilingual communication skills to ensure smooth approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years’ post graduate experience in Abu Dhabi.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
  • Strong leadership and delivery track record.
  • Experience with innovation and process optimization.
  • Good time management and prioritization.
  • Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD preferable.
  • Ability to communicate with external stakeholders at all levels.
  • UAE driver’s license and ability to visit authorities daily.
  • Spouse or parent sponsorship visa is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and authorities.
  • Engage with authorities in Abu Dhabi on infrastructure projects.
  • Understand authority processes, procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and report on submissions, meetings, phone calls and other authority engagements.
  • Report authority liaison matters via reports and status trackers.
  • Have a broad technical understanding of infrastructure sub-disciplines (roads, wet utilities, dry utilities).

Junior Stakeholder Coordinator

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Stakeholder Coordinator (Arabic Speaker) to join our team! In this role, you will work with the engineering team and assist the Lead Engineers and/or the Project Manager/Program Director.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ability to clearly coordinate with project stakeholders and authorities.
  • Willingness to engage with authorities in Abu Dhabi with a focus on infrastructure & building projects; prior authority experience is desirable.
  • Capable of understanding authority processes, procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and report on the status of all submissions, meetings, phone calls and any other relevant authority engagement.
  • Capable of reporting on authority liaison related matters via suitable media (written reports, tabulated status tracker sheets).
  • A broad technical understanding of infrastructure sub-disciplines (roads, wet utilities, dry utilities).

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or any relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years’ post graduate experience in Abu Dhabi.
  • Fluency in written and verbal communication (English and Arabic).
  • Have strong leadership qualities and a track record of delivery.
  • Proven experience in innovation and process optimization.
  • Good time management ability and competence in prioritizing tasks and workload.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software; ability to use Auto‑CAD preferable.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.
  • Candidate should ideally have UAE driver’s license.
  • Able to visit different authorities on a daily basis.
  • Preferable on spouse or parent sponsorship visa.
