Job summary

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in the UAE seeks a Project Operations Executive to lead end-to-end project cargo shipments, coordinating with customers, carriers and authorities to ensure safe, timely delivery. The role covers BBK, RoRo, Heavy Lift, OOG, and multiple cargo types, with duties spanning planning, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar.
• 5+ years of UAE project forwarding experience.
• Ability to review, interpret, and analyze shipment documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with transport vendors, surveyors, ports and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project logistics processes including planning, site coordination, documentation control, milestone tracking, and delivery execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project cargo shipments from origin to final destination.
• Execute shipments involving Breakbulk, RoRo, Heavy Lift, OOG, Flat Rack, Open Top, and conventional cargo.
• Monitor shipment milestones and ensure compliance with customer requirements and project timelines.
• Maintain visibility of cargo movements and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, vessel operators, port authorities, transport providers, customs brokers, surveyors, and agents.
• Review and verify shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs documentation.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Provide regular shipment status reports and participate in customer meetings as required.
