Job summary

MODULAR DESIGN Engineering Consultants in Dubai seeks an experienced Architect to work independently on design projects, coordinate with the team, and develop innovative architectural concepts. You will prepare presentations, drawings, and construction details while ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.

The role emphasizes sustainable design, BIM proficiency with Revit, and strong communication skills to drive project success in a fast-paced office environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Architecture.
• 5–7 years of UAE experience, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
• Experience with well-regarded design consultancies, not contractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present design solutions and develop plans for projects.
• Produce detailed drawings and gather all relevant information for new or existing details.
• Lead or participate in design assignments with the project team.
• Apply sustainable design solutions and comply with local Green Building Regulations.
• Ensure knowledge of local design guidelines, codes, and international standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks with benchmarking comparisons.
• Ensure tasks are completed with quality after self-check.
• Prepare drawings and documents for tendering and construction.
• Proficient in Revit Architecture for drafting, designing, and BIM.
• Coordinate technically with authorities at all levels.
• Maintain project documents: correspondence, minutes, notes, etc.
• Organize task allocation, track progress, and ensure timelines.
• Arrange reviews of designs and plans, implement modifications as required.
• Keep the team informed about project status and issues affecting clients.
• Pursue continuous learning and share knowledge with the team.

Job description

The role requires working independently on architectural design projects and often coordinating project design efforts. Excellent opportunity for a qualified Architect, based on office/design. Develops plans and creative design concepts for projects. Prepares presentation and design drawings, details, and plans for project success.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present design solutions and take part in various stages of design developmentProduce detailed drawings and acquire all relevant information – new or existing details.Taking part in or leading design assignments in collaboration with the project team.Apply sustainable design solutions and comply with all local Green Building RegulationsEnsure knowledge of all applicable local design guidelines, codes, & international standards.Identification, evaluation, and estimation of risks involved in a situation, comparison against benchmarks or standards, and making a risk mitigation plan.Ensuring tasks allocated is completed & delivered with quality after a self-check.Prepare drawings and documents for tendering and construction.Good command in using Revit Architecture in drafting, designing, and building information modeling(BIM).Perform technical and authority coordination at all levelsPrepare and maintain project documents per agreed deliverables like correspondence, minutes of meetings, notes, etc.Allocation, distribution, and follow-up of tasks within the team, checking of work produced, and ensuring work is completed within the allocated hours and scope.Arrange meetings to review design and plans, making modifications or revisions as required.Organizes and controls project activity.Track the progress and quality of work being performed.Keep the team informed about project status and issues that may affect Client relations.Keep on learning new skills, updated information and take necessary trainings as per modern practices in the relevant field and share with team and other disciplines organization wide.Software Expertise: Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera.

Requirements
