Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced packaging supervisor to organize and develop operators across VFFS, HFFS, and bottling lines.
You will drive TPM/Lean, monitor OEE, optimize line changeovers, and ensure GMP, food safety, labeling, and product compliance. This role requires 4–7 years in packaging and a Bachelor's degree, with proficiency in MS Office, MAXIMO, and Oracle.
Organize and supervise the packaging teams across VFFS HFFS and Bottling Lines to ensure smooth safe and efficient operations. Lead and develop operators and technicians through continuous coaching and structured performance reviews to achieve operational excellence.
Implement departmental packaging policies SOPs and standards ensuring strict adherence to GMP food safety and hygiene requirements. Maintain control over material handling line clearance and packaging specifications in compliance with product and regulatory standards.
Oversee daily packaging operations to achieve planned outputs OEE targets and dispatch timelines. Ensure changeovers line setups and production runs are performed efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Monitor machine performance material consumption and reject rates to drive continuous improvement in line efficiency.
Implement packaging optimization initiatives to reduce material waste and improve cost efficiency. Manage and monitor sectional operational and maintenance budgets ensuring financial control and adherence to approved limits. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure packaging integrity labeling accuracy and product compliance.
Enforce compliance with product packaging standards regulatory labeling laws and company brand guidelines. Participate in and support GMP quality and HSE audits ensuring readiness and compliance.
Supervise installation commissioning and validation of new packaging lines equipment upgrades and automation projects. Support the rollout of IoT and digital performance monitoring systems for real-time line visibility and analytics.
Lead TPM Lean and waste reduction initiatives to enhance throughput OEE and cost efficiency. Identify opportunities for process automation ergonomic improvements and downtime reduction.
Prepare and submit regular reports on OEE material utilization wastage and production efficiency in alignment with company KPIs and costing requirements.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures and PPE requirements within the packaging area. Promote a zero-incident culture through preventive safety audits toolbox talks and risk awareness programs.
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
