Job summary

Gulbahar Tobacco International Fze in Dubai is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production activities, supervise staff, and ensure targets, quality and safety.

You will monitor machines, coordinate with Maintenance and other departments, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining GMP/HSE standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing and at least five years in production, including two in supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Production or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in FMCG, tobacco, food, packaging, or similar manufacturing industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily production activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
• Allocate work and supervise production staff.
• Monitor production processes, machines, output and efficiency.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to company quality standards and SOPs.
• Follow and enforce GMP, HSE, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and technical issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, Planning, and other departments.
• Monitor raw material usage and minimize production waste.
• Maintain proper production records and reports.
• Identify production problems and take corrective action.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the production area.
• Train and guide production employees when required.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Report production issues and performance to the Production Manager.
