Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking a Production Engineer - Aluminum Fabrication to coordinate daily factory activities, optimize resource use, and ensure finishing in line with project schedules. Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate daily factory activities against approved production targets and delivery commitments.
  • Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and production orders before releasing work to manufacturing teams.
  • Confirm that production information is complete, current, and technically suitable before fabrication begins.
  • Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC, Project, and Logistics teams to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
  • Monitor aluminum fabrication through cutting, machining, assembly, glazing, finishing, packing, and preparation for dispatch.
  • Track daily output and compare completed quantities with planned production targets.
  • Prepare production schedules and update priorities based on project requirements, material availability, and factory capacity.
  • Ensure aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, consumables, and other required materials are available before scheduled production.
  • Allocate manpower and machinery according to workload, priority, and required completion dates.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and production capacity to improve factory efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks affecting fabrication and initiate corrective action before project delivery dates are impacted.
  • Coordinate production sequencing where several projects or facade systems share factory resources.
  • Verify that fabricated components conform to approved shop drawings, specifications, tolerances, and project quality requirements.
  • Work with QA/QC teams to investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Minimize rework by ensuring technical issues are resolved before material enters critical fabrication stages.
  • Track material wastage, production losses, and resource consumption.
  • Recommend practical cost-saving measures without compromising technical or quality requirements.
  • Review recurring production problems and support improvements to factory methods, layouts, and workflows.
  • Promote standardization and continuous improvement across aluminum fabrication activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to Production Supervisors and factory personnel during complex fabrication work.
  • Support resolution of drawing, profile, hardware, glazing, and assembly-related production issues.
  • Maintain coordination with project teams regarding changing priorities and required delivery dates.
  • Liaise with Logistics teams to ensure completed materials are packed, identified, and dispatched according to project requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
  • Maintain accurate production records covering progress, resource utilization, wastage, delays, and completed quantities.
  • Escalate material shortages, technical constraints, equipment limitations, and other risks that could affect factory output.
  • Ensure all production activities follow approved health, safety, and factory operating procedures.
  • Support management with production forecasts and recommendations for improving operational performance.

  • Strong understanding of aluminum fabrication processes and production workflows.
  • Practical knowledge of cutting, machining, assembly, glazing, and packing operations.
