Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job packs including POs, contracts, delivery notes, invoices, and customer copies.

• Coordinate with vendors to obtain work scopes for projects and procurement.

Job Description / Role:

Our client is currently hiring for the position of Production Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain comprehensive job pack for all projects, including purchase orders (PO), contract reviews, delivery notes, signed customer copies, invoices, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of formal delivery notes for completed parts.
• Conduct contract reviews for jobs to be processed, ensuring all product and system requirements are addressed from initial conception to final delivery.
• File and maintain job-related documentation to ensure compliance and easy access to historical data.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain work scopes for projects, including raw material procurement, high precision components (HCP), stripping, and non-conventional machining operations.
• Manage and create subcontract purchase orders (PO), ensuring timely closing and completion of jobs.
• Follow up with subcontractors, monitor job progress, and maintain accurate records of subcontracted work.
• Ensure that product and process quality meet all specifications and standards required for successful completion.
• Assist in scanning and filing quality inspection documents for all completed or delivered jobs on the server.
• Collaborate with the sales department to address any queries during the job booking process.
• Provide accurate timelines and updates to clients regarding job progress and delivery dates.
