Job summary

Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Production Engineer with strong offshore experience to design and optimize production plans, monitor processes, and lead cross-functional teams. The role requires 12+ years in oil & gas production engineering and excellent English communication skills.

The position offers a contract hire arrangement with 7-hour Abu Dhabi days and offshore shifts, a 6-month probation, medical insurance, and housing support for single status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of proven production engineering experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience in offshore production engineering.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency.
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Develop and maintain production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to improve production processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Position: Production Engineer

Work Location
Abu Dhabi (with frequent offshore visits as per job requirements)

Leave Cycle
150/30 – on Single status
335/30 – on Family status (applicable after completion of Probation period)

Working Hours
Abu Dhabi - 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week)
Offshore - 06:30 to 18:30 (1-hour lunch break), 7 days a week

Salary Range
AED 12,000 – 14,000 per month

Probation Period
6 months

Family status benefits will become applicable upon successful completion of the probationary period

Qualification (minimum)
Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience (minimum)
Possess 12+ years of proven expertise in production engineering in the oil & gas sector.
Experience in Offshore Production Engineering
