Procurement Specialist: Construction & WWTP (Tally ERP)

Job summary

Qureos in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly organized Procurement Officer with at least 2 years of experience in construction, contracting, or engineering. Knowledge of wastewater treatment projects is a strong advantage, and proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office is required.

The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers, issuing POs, tracking deliveries, and maintaining supplier relationships while ensuring cost control and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in construction, contracting, or engineering.
• Experience in wastewater treatment projects (WWTP/STP/WTP) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP is required; strong knowledge of procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare management statements for approval.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams on material needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure purchased materials meet technical specs and quality standards.
• Track deliveries and resolve supply delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
• Process procurement transactions using Tally ERP.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and stock replenishment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Support management with procurement reports and admin tasks.
