Job summary

Royal Infra-Piling Division is seeking a Procurement Specialist for piling and foundation works. The role coordinates with General Manager, project teams, QA/QC, Engineering, and subcontractors to secure materials, equipment and services on time and within quality standards.

The ideal candidate will manage supplier qualification, obtain competitive quotations, negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely procurement and delivery across sites, while maintaining procurement trackers and complying

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating procurement for piling and foundation works is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate technical procurement requirements and supplier capabilities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier selection skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager and project teams to ensure timely availability of resources.
• Act as a technical bridge between Procurement, QA/QC, Engineering and Piling Operations.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate terms and manage delivery for piling projects.
• Maintain supplier database and evaluate supplier performance; develop alternative suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Job Description – Procurement Specialist (Piling & Foundation Works) Job Title: Procurement Specialist – Piling & Foundation Works Department: Royal Infra-Piling Division Reports To: General Manager Grade : E Location: All Sites Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Manager, Piling Director, Operations Manager, Project Managers, Construction Teams, Engineering, QA/QC, Commercial, Procurement, Stores, Consultants, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Specialist Subcontractors to ensure uninterrupted project execution and timely availability of all critical resources.
• To be technical bridge between Procurement, QA/QC, Engineering and Piling Operations, ensuring that the right materials, equipment, consumables and specialist services are procured at the right quality, right price and right time to support safe, efficient and uninterrupted project execution.
• Responsible for evaluating technical procurement requirements, identifying and prequalifying suitable manufacturers, suppliers , obtaining technically compliant and commercially competitive quotations, negotiating favourable terms, and ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, consumables and specialist services required for piling and ground engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain an approved supplier database for consumables (spacers, sonic logging tubes , O-Cell jacks etc) , Prequalify manufacturers , suppliers and Evaluate supplier technical capability, quality, capacity and financial/commercial reliability. Conduct supplier performance reviews, and Develop alternative suppliers for critical materials
• Maintain Records & Monitor piling sites requirements of consumables, materials, and site resources & Arranging Materials Ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Identifying suitable suppliers/manufacturers, Obtaining competitive quotations, Conducting technical evaluation, Preparing technical/commercial comparison sheets, Coordinating material approvals. Monitoring manufacturing and delivery , Co ordinating inspections where required, Checking material certificates , Co-ordinating delivery to project sites , Maintaining procurement trackers, Developing alternative suppliers to minimize project risk.
