Job summary

Azizi Group in Dubai seeks a Procurement Specialist for Piling & Ground Engineering to manage supplier qualifications, quotations, and delivery of materials and services for piling projects. The role collaborates across procurement, QA/QC and operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project execution.

Responsibilities include maintaining a supplier database, evaluating suppliers, coordinating material approvals, and tracking deliveries to all sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of piling foundation and ground engineering works.
• Strong QA/QC awareness and procurement capability.
• Experience with supplier prequalification and competitive quotations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the General Manager, Piling Director, Operations Manager, Project Managers, Construction Teams, Engineering QA/QC, Commercial, Procurement, Stores, Consultants, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Subcontractors to ensure uninterrupted project execution and timely availability of all critical resources.
• Act as the technical bridge between Procurement, QA/QC, Engineering and Piling Operations to procure the right materials, equipment, consumables and specialist services at the right quality, price and time.
• Evaluate technical procurement requirements, identify and prequalify suitable manufacturers and suppliers, obtain compliant quotations, negotiate terms and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Develop and maintain an approved supplier database for consumables (spacers, sonic logging tubes, O-Cell jacks, etc.). Prequalify manufacturers/suppliers and evaluate capability, quality, capacity and financial reliability.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and develop alternative suppliers for critical materials; maintain procurement trackers and coordinate material approvals.
• Monitor piling sites requirements, ensure compliance with drawings/method statements/quality/HSE, coordinate delivery to project sites and maintain records.

Job Description Procurement Specialist (Piling & Foundation Works) Job Title: Procurement Specialist Piling & Foundation Works Department: Royal Infra-Piling Division Reports To: General Manager Grade : E Location: All Sites Employment Type: Full-Time The Procurement Specialist Piling & Ground Engineering is a technically strong and commercially astute professional with extensive knowledge of piling foundation and ground engineering works supported by strong QA/QC expertise and procurement capability. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the General Manager Piling Director Operations Manager Project Managers Construction Teams Engineering QA/QC Commercial Procurement Stores Consultants Manufacturers Suppliers and Specialist Subcontractors to ensure uninterrupted project execution and timely availability of all critical resources. To be technical bridge between Procurement QA/QC Engineering and Piling Operations ensuring that the right materials equipment consumables and specialist services are procured at the right quality right price and right time to support safe efficient and uninterrupted project execution. Responsible for evaluating technical procurement requirements identifying and prequalifying suitable manufacturers suppliers obtaining technically compliant and commercially competitive quotations negotiating favourable terms and ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials equipment consumables and specialist services required for piling and ground engineering projects. Develop and maintain an approved supplier database for consumables (spacers sonic logging tubes O-Cell jacks etc) Prequalify manufacturers suppliers and Evaluate supplier technical capability quality capacity and financial/commercial reliability.
