Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced QA/QC Lead to develop and implement robust quality control plans for procured materials and components in oil and gas projects. You will conduct inspections and testing of incoming goods, verify compliance with technical drawings and standards, and drive supplier qualification programs.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in oil & gas construction, onshore/offshore, and holds an Engineering degree plus welding and paint inspector

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in oil & gas construction.
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• CSWIP Welding Inspector certification (3.1/3.2) or equivalent.
• AWS SCWI, BGAS/NACE, and Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of incoming goods verifying compliance with technical drawings and standards
• Manage supplier qualification processes assessing their quality systems and manufacturing capabilities
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances with suppliers driving corrective and preventive actions
• Minimum 12 years in the field oil & Gas construction activities for onshore, offshore, Rigs/ship building.
• Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in the English language.
• Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Welding Inspector certification CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 'AWS - SCWI.Painting Inspector certification BGAS/NACE.Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor
