Job summary

Maseera seeks a Quality Control Inspector for multi-coating welding and painting operations at on‑site and offshore sites in the UAE. You will organize and execute inspections, verify compliance with the QC Plan, and issue quality records or non-conformance reports as needed.

Experience with oil and gas construction, and relevant certifications are essential. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant offshore QC surveillance experience, with

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas construction sector.
• CSWIP / AWS & BGAS / NACE familiarity with applicable standards and codes for QC surveillance offshore projects.
• Experience in Construction / Vendor site inspection.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute inspection jobs with professionalism.
• Execute inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issue quality records and non-conformances reports to QC Supervisor when necessary.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan and manage relevant documentation and procedures.
• Ensure implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and workers qualifications.
• Inspect power transformers, switchboards, batteries, sockets, lighting, RTUs, cables and tunings.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, ratings and material checks for connections.

• Execute the specific inspections on materials equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
• Issue the relevant Quality Records and when necessary write and send to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan obtain the relevant documentation check procedures and equipment to be used in tests controls and inspections manage documents certifying tests controls and inspections.
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications.
• Check power transformers switchboard accumulator battery sockets outlet lighting system Remote terminal unit instruments cables tunings etc.
• Perform visual inspections dimensional test check rating and material for connection.
