About the Role:

We are hiring a Procurement Executive to manage purchasing operations and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of goods, with a specific focus on food and beverage items. This role is essential in supporting smooth supply chain operations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the organization's operational efficiency and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors
  2. Compare and evaluate supplier offers based on price, quality, and delivery terms
  3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreement
  4. Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  5. Review and assess the quality of purchased products
  6. Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendors, invoices, and delivery schedules
  7. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff for timely replenishment
  8. Prepare and analyze purchase reports and cost analysis data
  9. Enter order details into internal procurement databases
  10. Attend trade shows and industry events to stay informed on market trends and supplier options

Requirements:

  1. 13 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role
  2. Hands-on experience with food and beverage purchasing (mandatory)
  3. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and supply chain procedures
  4. Solid analytical skills and the ability to prepare financial and cost analysis reports
  5. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
  7. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
