Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer in a professional construction/engineering setting.
• Proven track record with major tier-1 fire protection/MEP/construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of submittals, material approvals, and procurement workflows within engineering projects.
• Multilingual capability: Arabic, English, and Hindi.
• Experience reviewing AutoCAD drawings and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement cycle for engineering materials, equipment, and sub-contractor services.
• Review BOQs, specifications, and drawings to identify material needs and prepare RFQs/RFPs.
• Perform technical and commercial evaluations of supplier bids for compliance with specs and budget.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery with local and international suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain an AVL of reputable vendors.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and quality teams for material submittals and approvals.
• Expedite deliveries, track purchase orders, and resolve supply chain delays.
• Ensure purchasing adheres to terms, policies, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare procurement trackers, cost analyses, and PO documentation.
