Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

The Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement cycle, including identifying requirements, preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluating suppliers, and processing purchase orders. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal stakeholders to define technical and commercial specifications, assessing supplier capabilities, negotiating terms, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials and services. The Procurement Engineer will monitor market trends, maintain accurate procurement records, and support cost optimization initiatives while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations. The role also requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure that procurement decisions meet project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation and management.
• Experience with Purchase Orders, including creation, tracking, and documentation.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for comparing quotations, assessing total cost of ownership, and supporting data-driven decisions.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement within the energy, oil and gas, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems and basic contract and commercial terms.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.
