Job summary

DMC in the UAE is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement for energy sector projects in Dubai. You will handle RFQs, RFPs, and supplier negotiations, coordinating with logistics and various departments to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in energy or related industries, and hands-on vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in energy or related industries.
• Experience in preparing commercial bid evaluations for high-value tender contracts.
• Ability to develop and manage RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs with cross-functional teams.
• Experience negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the energy or related industries
• Prepare commercial bid evaluations for high-value tender contracts
• Assist in developing and managing RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs
• Support procurement operations and workflows, coordinating with different departments to ensure services are delivered effectively and products are delivered on time and according to requirements
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for products and services, from defining the scope of work through to coordination with the Logistics Department
• Manage and maintain vendor contracts, including negotiating and drafting contract terms and conditions
• Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Identify and onboard new vendors while supporting vendor development initiatives
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders and RFQs using Jaggaer and SAP S/4HANA
