Job summary

NMES is seeking a Procurement and Contracts professional to execute end-to-end procurement processes for materials and services across all NMES plants and businesses. The role ensures compliance with NMES policies, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency, while coordinating with legal and finance for contract terms and payments.

Key responsibilities include supplier selection, RFQ preparation, PO issuance, expediting, contract management, and vendor performance assessments, with SAP-based outline

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Logistics and distribution or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collate information from plants and finalize specs for RFQs.
• Coordinate procurement or contract cycle to meet needs timely and cost-optimised.
• Administer purchase terms with stakeholders and legal to protect NMES interests.
• Analyze quotations and provide inputs for supplier decision.
• Negotiate quotations to obtain best value for NMES.
• Coordinate meetings for purchase orders to enable approvals/ modifications.
• Enter PO data and obtain approvals for timely generation.
• Expedite with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
• Process invoices with finance to ensure payments per contract terms.
• Amend POs including end-user inputs.
• Support vendor performance evaluations.
• Create outlines in SAP and link POs to outlines.
• Identify new suppliers to expand the vendor database.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and contingency plans.
