Job summary

Winter Refrigeration in Dubai seeks an experienced Process Engineer with a strong Oil & Gas/Industrial Refrigeration background to join our engineering team.

You will develop PFDs, HMBs, and P&IDs, perform line sizing and hydraulic calculations, and size PSV. You will use HTRI and Aspen HYSYS for design and simulation, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure compliance with project specs and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
• Hands-on experience with HTRI.
• Experience in PSV calculation and selection.
• Ability to prepare PFD, HMB, and P&ID.
• Strong knowledge of process line sizing.
• Familiarity with PMS and material selection.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

• Perform process line sizing and hydraulic calculations.
• Perform PSV calculation, sizing, and selection.
• Develop process engineering calculations and technical documents.
• Work with HTRI for heat exchanger design and analysis.
• Use Aspen HYSYS for process simulation and analysis.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure process designs comply with applicable project specifications, codes, and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years or more of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with HTRI.
• Good working knowledge of Aspen HYSYS.
• Experience in PSV calculation and selection.
• Ability to prepare PFD, HMB, and P&ID.
• Strong knowledge of process line sizing.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and material selection.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred

• Experience in industrial refrigeration, process cooling packages and process gas packages
• Knowledge of relevant API and other Oil & Gas standards is preferred.
