Job summary

WINTER Refrigeration in Dubai is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Package Design to join our engineering team. The role focuses on designing mechanical skid packages and refrigeration systems, with hands-on drafting using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

You will develop GA, shop drawings, P&IDs and PFDs, perform design calculations, and verify BOMs while collaborating closely with Production, Fabrication and Project teams to deliver compliant, high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–3 years of relevant mechanical design/drafting experience
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and SolidWorks
• Good understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes; read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience in industrial refrigeration, HVAC, MEP, piping, skid packages or oil & gas is highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines

Mechanical Engineer - Package Design

WINTER Refrigeration, a UAE-based manufacturer of industrial refrigeration and mechanical equipment, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Package Design to join our engineering team in Dubai.

A technically strong and motivated engineer who is passionate about mechanical design, engineering drawings and equipment manufacturing, with a willingness to learn and grow within a specialized engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical skid packages and refrigeration systems


• Prepare detailed 2D/3D engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks
