Amazon Middle East and North Africa FZ-LLC is seeking a Category Manager to own private label/white label categories with a focus on fresh produce, perishable and grocery in the UAE. You will drive category strategy, P&L management, and selection development while collaborating with vendor management, pricing, and tech teams to shape long-term trajectory.

The role demands strong commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and experience launching new categories across markets.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, or client/vendor-facing environment such as sales or negotiation.
• 5+ years of FMCG experience in Category Development, Product Development, Innovation, Portfolio, or Brand Management.
• Strong exposure to Brand Management, New Product Launches, Media Planning and Market Research.
• Proven experience launching and commercializing new categories, products, or brands.
• Strong expertise in market assessment, consumer insights, category strategy, pricing, commercialization, and financial modelling.
• Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, and external strategic partners.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, stakeholder management, and project leadership.
• Develop annual marketing plans and coordinate their successful implementation to grow sales, profit, and market share.

Responsabilidades

• Build effective category strategies in private label/white label across categories with focus on fresh produce, perishable and grocery.
• Identify and evaluate new category opportunities aligned with quick commerce growth mandate.
• Develop category roadmaps, business cases, P&L models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
• Evaluate private labels from other Amazon marketplaces and bring them to AE with local relevance.
• Lead end-to-end new product development and commercialization through stage-gate processes.
• Monitor competitive and market dynamics and translate insights into actionable category interventions.
• Manage external partners, co-manufacturers, suppliers, research agencies, and strategic partners.
• Liaising with manufacturer Formulation & Packaging for new product and packaging developments.
• Track revenue, profitability, market share, launch performance, and ROI and recommend corrective actions.
• Author high-quality business documents and represent the category in senior leadership forums.
