Job summary

Dubai Municipality seeks an experienced Senior Civil/Mechanical Engineer to lead major department projects and ensure delivery that meets international standards.

You will review specifications, supervise all project phases, coordinate with RTA and developers, and ensure on-time completion within contracted terms. This role demands 15+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized studies and research to enhance department projects.
• Work on implementing outcomes in line with international best practices.
• Review and audit specifications and standards for project execution.
• Provide recommendations to develop them with emerging changes.
• Supervise all phases of project implementation.
• Ensure completion in line with approved plans, schedules and contracts.
• Expedite project completion where required.
• Monitor the progress of RTA and developers' projects.
• Approve variation orders for additional works per regulations.
