Job summary

Surge Group in Dubai is seeking a Principal Consultant to take ownership of their desk and directly contribute to business growth. You will shape strategy, drive placements, and build a client base across crypto, AI and tech.

You\'ll partner with senior leadership, manage full-cycle recruitment from BD to placement, and lead cross-border hiring initiatives while expanding into new markets with an attractive commission scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting in crypto, AI, or tech with 3+ years
• Experience on a 360 or 180 desk
• Strong track record of billings
• Experience growing client relationships and delivering measurable results
• Ability to win accounts from standing start or fill roles from day one

We’re growing our tech recruitment team and looking for a Principal Consultant who wants real ownership of their desk and a direct hand in building the business.

You’ll work with some of the most exciting names in Crypto, AI and Tech, from exchanges and blockchain protocols to frontier AI labs, with the autonomy to build your own client base and the backing of a company where your results are seen and rewarded.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the Director and the Head of Crypto to shape desk strategy, set targets, and drive growth.
• Operate as a 360 or 180 recruiter: managing the full cycle from business development through to placement or focusing on the candidate side while supporting client delivery.
• Build and manage your own client portfolio across crypto, AI and tech, while growing existing accounts.
• Lead candidate and contractor mapping across key hubs, including the US, MENA, and Europe.
• Advise clients on international hiring, including contractor and employer-of-record options.
• Drive business development, negotiations, and account growth, including expansion into new markets.
• Partner with C-suite.

What We’re Looking For
