Job summary

GEMS International School – Dubai Hills (GIS) invites applications from experienced Primary Supply Teachers to provide flexible classroom cover across the Primary phase with immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality classroom cover across the Primary phase as required.
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the plans and resources provided, ensuring continuity of learning for students.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment where all students feel supported and engaged.
• Adapt teaching and support to meet the diverse needs of learners, including EAL and students requiring additional support.
• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement and learning in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider Primary colleagues to ensure a smooth transition into and out of classroom cover.
• Provide relevant feedback to the class teacher or appropriate team member following periods of cover.
• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students, following school policies and procedures at all times.
• Uphold the GEMS values and IB Learner Profile in all aspects of school life.
