GEMS International School, Dubai Hills (GIS) is seeking an experienced Primary Inclusion Teacher to join a fully authorised IB World School. The role supports diverse learners, with an anticipated start from January 2027.

You will plan inquiry-based lessons and collaborate with colleagues to align with IB standards. The successful candidate will have a degree in Primary/Inclusion and at least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in an IB setting, with a passion for innovative,

Qualifications

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level in Primary/Inclusion.
• Minimum of 3 years of solid experience teaching Primary Inclusion, preferably in IB.
• Experience with PYP is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.

Skills Description

The ideal candidate will have:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Primary/Inclusion.


• A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience teaching Primary Inclusion, ideally within an IB Curriculum School (preferred but not essential).


• Experience teaching PYP is preferred but not essential.


• A passion for inspiring young learners through innovative and inquiry based teaching.
