GEMS International School - Dubai Hills is inviting outstanding Primary Teachers to join from August 2027. We welcome IB educators as well as teachers from British and other international curricula who are passionate about inquiry-led learning and inspiring confident, curious learners.

We offer inquiry-based, child-centred classrooms with collaboration to develop curricula and strong relationships with students, parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Degree-level teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of three years' experience in Primary teaching.
• IB PYP experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of child-centred pedagogy and inquiry-led learning.

Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification at degree level, such as a B.Ed, PGCE, State Teaching License or equivalent, with appropriate Primary teaching credentials.
• A minimum of three years' successful experience teaching within the Primary phase, ideally including the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), although IB experience is preferred rather than essential.
• A strong understanding of effective Primary pedagogy and child-centred learning.
• Experience or confidence in delivering inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.
• A passion for inspiring curiosity and developing confident, independent and globally minded learners.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
