Job summary

GEMS International School - Dubai Hills in Dubai seeks an outstanding Early Years Teacher to join from August 2027. You will deliver inquiry-based learning, nurture curious, globally minded learners, and contribute to a premium international school community.

Candidates should hold a degree-level teaching qualification with Early Years credentials and at least three years' experience, including IB PYP preferred. The role offers housing, flights, medical insurance and visa sponsorship.

The role

Requirements

• A recognised teaching qualification at degree level, such as a B.Ed, PGCE, State Teaching License or equivalent, with appropriate Early Years teaching credentials.
• A minimum of three years' successful experience teaching within the Early Years phase, ideally including the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), although IB experience is preferred rather than essential.
• A strong understanding of effective Early Years pedagogy and child-centred learning.
• Experience or confidence in delivering inquiry-based, concept-driven learning.
• A passion for inspiring curiosity and developing confident, independent and globally minded learners.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and classroom management skills.
