Job summary

Etihad Cargo, based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Revenue Management Specialist to join the pricing team responsible for regional pricing and offer management. You will develop seasonal pricing, set prices by flow and customer, and create offers for routes, coordinating with the regional commercial team.

In this role you will govern prices and capacity allocations, support regional teams to hit targets, and conduct data-driven analysis to identify opportunities and risks for the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of revenue management or related analytical experience
• Sound knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing methodologies and modelling, cargo revenue management systems, flight planning
• Strong communicator and decision maker
• Highly numerate
• Comfortable working with complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a seasonal pricing strategy for the region in coordination with the regional commercial team; set prices by flow, rate type, customer and product.
• Identifying the need for tactical pricing promotions.
• Responsible for creating the portfolio of offers for assigned routes, evaluating their effectiveness and taking corrective actions when required.
• Governance and performance tracking of the prices and capacity allocations.
• Support and challenge the regional commercial teams to achieve their target.
• Conduct research and analysis to highlight opportunities and risk for the region using different data sources.
• Spot rate evaluation and approval, optimizing the contribution for Etihad Cargo.
• Route analysis – monitor routes and performance and take actions to optimize load factors and mix of business.
• Construct pricing proposals for participation in Customer global tenders and guide negotiations.
• Work in cross-functional groups to support new product launches, strategic initiatives and system enhancements.
