Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing.
• Wash and peel fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and food prep checklist.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to ensure proper cooking; monitor food quality during prep.
• Set up and break down workstation; clean and sanitize area and equipment.
• Follow safety policies; report hazards to manager; maintain professional appearance.
