Job summary

Aloft Hotels Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is seeking a Kitchen Associate to prepare ingredients, portion and cook foods to spec, and ensure fresh, safe meals for guests. You will follow recipes, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain sanitation throughout your shift.

We value at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment at our on-site Abu Dhabi location.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Cook according to recipes and standards; operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Follow safety policies, keep work areas clean, and report maintenance or safety issues.
