Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience expected for this role.
• No license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently and monitor quality.
• Follow safety policies, report maintenance needs, and keep the work area clean.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, tools, knives and equipment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
