Job summary

Prompt General Contracting seeks a Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor in Abu Dhabi to support cost planning, tender preparation, and contract documentation for upcoming projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying with 3–7 years UAE/GCC experience, strong knowledge of FIDIC, cost planning, and tendering, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 3–7 years pre‑contract QS experience (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, cost planning, and tendering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS measurement software.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple pre‑contract packages.

Responsibilities

• Cost Planning – Prepare initial cost estimates, cost plans, and value engineering inputs.
• Tender Documentation – Develop BOQs, specifications, and pricing schedules for tender issuance.
• Measurement – Take Offs – Perform detailed quantity take‑offs from drawings and IFC documents.
• Rate Build Ups – Prepare analytical rate build‑ups for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Tender Evaluation – Conduct commercial evaluations, comparisons, and recommendations.
• Contract Preparation – Support preparation of contract agreements, special conditions, and commercial schedules.
• Risk & Value Analysis – Identify cost risks and propose value engineering alternatives.
