Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Quantity Surveyor to drive pre-contract activities including cost planning estimating value engineering and tender services. The role requires MRICS or APC candidacy and a degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum 10 years of experience.

UAE/international exposure (5+ years) is preferred and CostX or similar software knowledge is advantageous. The successful candidate will handle contract interpretation (FIDIC favored) and provide strong English

Qualifications

• MRICS or APC candidate aiming to complete chartership within a specified time period.
• Experience in hospitality, residential buildings, retail, commercial infrastructure, etc.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of UAE/international experience preferred.
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge in QS software CostX or similar is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.

Responsibilities

• Cost Planning and estimating for pre-contract activities.
• Value Engineering and cash flow forecasting.
• Bills of Quantities production (POMI NRM2 and CESSM4).
• Tender services including compilation tender analysis negotiation and recommendation.
• Contract interpretation and application FIDIC preferred.
