Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking a PMV Manager in the UAE to lead end-to-end management of plant, machinery and vehicles across projects. You will optimise asset utilization, control costs, ensure compliance and coordinate between sites, workshops, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The role covers maintenance, safety compliance, vendor management and team leadership to deliver project outcomes with minimal downtime and strong reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 10–15 years of PMV/Operations management experience.
• GCC experience preferred.
• Experience managing large fleets and multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, allocation, and utilization of all PMV across projects.
• Ensure equipment availability per project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain PMV inventory records, movement, and depreciation planning.
• Coordinate with project teams to understand PMV needs and support mobilisation.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and workshop efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, registrations, and insurance requirements.
• Negotiate rates with vendors and monitor performance.
• Lead PMV supervisors, coordinators, drivers, operators, and mechanics.
• Prepare PMV utilization and cost reports for management.

Our Client is s a well-established landscape, irrigation, and outdoor environment services company in the UAE . They are hiring for a PMV Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of Plant, Machinery, Vehicles, and operational support to projects. The role ensures optimal utilization of assets, cost control, compliance, availability, and smooth coordination between sites, workshops, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• PMV & Asset Management
  • Oversee the planning, allocation, and utilization of all plant, machinery, and vehicles across projects
  • Ensure equipment availability as per project requirements and timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of PMV inventory, movement, deployment, and idle assets
  • Control PMV-related costs including rentals, fuel, maintenance, and repairs
  • Monitor asset lifecycle, depreciation, replacement planning, and disposal
• Operations & Project Support
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand operational and PMV needs
  • Support project mobilisation and demobilisation activities
  • Ensure minimal downtime of equipment through proactive planning
  • Resolve operational bottlenecks impacting site productivity
  • Support emergency breakdowns and urgent site requirements
• Maintenance & Workshop Management
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Ensure workshops function efficiently with proper manpower, tools, and spares
  • Monitor maintenance quality, turnaround time, and cost effectiveness
  • Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and vendors
• Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment comply with statutory, safety, and legal requirements
  • Monitor registrations, permits, insurance, third-party certifications, and renewals
  • Enforce safety standards for equipment operation and site usage
  • Support audits and inspections related to PMV and operations
• Vendor & Contract Management
  • Manage rental vendors, transporters, fuel suppliers, and maintenance contractors
  • Negotiate rates, control costs, and monitor vendor performance
  • Ensure timely billing, documentation, and coordination with finance
• Team Management
  • Lead and manage PMV supervisors, coordinators, drivers, operators, and mechanics
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor performance
  • Provide guidance, training, and discipline where required
• Reporting & MIS
  • Prepare and review PMV utilization reports, cost analysis, and downtime reports
  • Track KPIs related to efficiency, cost savings, and asset performance
  • Provide regular updates to management on operational status and risks

Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (preferred)
  • 10–15 years of experience in PMV / Operations management
