Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in fleet/transport management within UAE construction or PMV sector.
• Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, Dubai heavy transport rules, vehicle registration procedures, and road safety guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with GPS tracking software, Fleet Management Systems (FMS), and route planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day fleet activities, dispatching, driver assignments, and movement of heavy plant equipment across Dubai project sites.
• Supervise driver schedules, performance evaluations, and coordinate with Driver Trainers to maintain safety levels.
• Track fuel consumption, route efficiency, turnaround times, and vehicle utilization to reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with RTA regulations, UAE transport laws, and internal HSE standards.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, Material Engineers, Workshop/Plant Engineers, and Logistics Coordinators to align transport with site timelines.
• Liaise with PMV Workshop team to schedule maintenance and repairs for maximum fleet uptime.
• Maintain logs, GPS data, operator licensing records, and driver compliance files; prepare performance reports.

Azizi Developments is a leading property developer in Dubai, UAE, overseeing large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use megaprojects. The Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) Division is critical to maintaining the operations, logistics, and equipment flow across all active construction sites.

Role Summary:

position supports the Transport Manager in overseeing the daily operational logistics, fleet deployment, routing efficiency, driver performance, and compliance for all heavy/light vehicles and mobile machinery within the PMV division. You will ensure seamless transport services between yards, suppliers, and active construction sites while maintaining strict safety, budget, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fleet Operations & Scheduling: Assist in managing day-to-day fleet activities, dispatching, driver assignments, and movement of heavy plant equipment, buses, and light utility vehicles across Dubai project sites.
• Driver & Staff Management: Supervise driver schedules, perform operational evaluations, enforce performance standards, and coordinate with Driver Trainers to maintain high safety levels.
• Cost & Performance Optimization: Track fuel consumption, route efficiency, turnaround times, and vehicle utilization rates to eliminate operational bottlenecks and cut transportation costs.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) regulations, UAE transport laws, and internal Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with Site Managers, Material Engineers, Workshop/Plant Engineers, and Logistics Coordinators to align transport availability with site construction timelines.
• Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with the PMV Workshop team to schedule preventive maintenance, regular inspections, and prompt breakdowns/repairs to ensure maximum fleet uptime.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed logs, vehicle tracking (GPS) data, operator licensing records, and driver compliance files; prepare regular performance reports for top management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fleet/transport management within the construction or heavy machinery (PMV) sector in the UAE.
• Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, Dubai heavy transport rules, vehicle registration procedures, and road safety guidelines.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with GPS tracking software, Fleet Management Systems (FMS), and route planning tools.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent team leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a strong advantage for site team management).
