Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced PMO Lead / Governance Lead to support a major Corporate Credit Origination transformation within Corporate Banking. You will govern multi‑stream, multi‑vendor delivery, manage planning and reporting, and provide executive oversight across banking platforms.

The role covers governance, RAID, change control, financial governance, and production readiness, with collaboration across Corporate Banking, Credit, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of banking technology delivery experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading PMO, programme governance, project controls, or transformation governance.
• Experience leading a PMO for a major banking-platform implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• PMI, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO and governance function for a major corporate credit or lending-platform transformation.
• Establish governance structures, forums, decision rights, reporting standards, and delivery controls.
• Coordinate working groups, programme forums, Steering Committees, and assurance meetings.
• Ensure governance discipline across all programme workstreams.
• Define and maintain programme standards, templates, processes, and reporting calendars.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and actions; provide delivery insight to senior management.
• Govern data migration, testing, cutover, readiness, and production stabilization.
