Job summary

Finance House is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic and business transformation initiatives in Abu Dhabi. You will translate corporate strategy into actionable plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage risks and dependencies to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.

You will support the Transformation Management Office, develop project plans, monitor budgets, and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in project management and strategy within banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, cross-functional stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Experience in project governance, budget monitoring, risk management, and senior management reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of departmental strategy maps, strategy implementation plans, and KPIs aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead projects throughout their lifecycle, coordinating with Product Owners, Product Managers, subject matter experts, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resources, responsibilities, and dependencies.
• Monitor project budgets, resource utilisation, and delivery progress, identifying variances and driving corrective actions.
• Maintain consolidated risk, issue, action, and dependency registers, ensuring clear ownership, timely resolution, and appropriate escalation.
• Lead project status meetings and stakeholder workshops to resolve bottlenecks, facilitate decisions, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Assess and manage change requests, including their impact on project scope, timelines, costs, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct periodic reviews of strategic and priority programmes to assess alignment with business plans, delivery commitments, and portfolio priorities.
• Review project performance against agreed timelines, quality requirements, and organisational project management standards.
• Prepare accurate management reports covering project status, financial performance, operational progress, key risks, and decisions required.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement and alignment on project objectives, priorities, responsibilities, and delivery expectations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers and project team members, regularly reviewing outputs and supporting issue resolution.
• Evaluate business and technical proposals for alignment with corporate strategy and implementation requirements.
• Capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into project management standards, processes, and templates.
• Identify opportunities to improve business performance through operational efficiencies, product enhancements, pricing initiatives, and growth channels.

Experience

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, cross-functional stakeholders, and competing priorities.
• Experience in project governance, budget monitoring, risk management, and senior management reporting.
