Job summary

Amazon in Dubai is seeking a proactive Product Manager to transform GCC inventory management, focusing on Forecasting and Buying to enable scalable growth across multiple markets. Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Manager to play a key role in the transformation of inventory management for Amazon's MENA business. This position is part of the GCC Instock Management team and focuses on enhancing our Forecasting and Buying processes. As a PM you will be instrumental in identifying and leading initiatives critical for supporting our scalable growth and achieving our long-term objectives.

You will partner with central Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) and operations product management and technical teams to deliver change whilst also being the expert point of contact to GCC Retail teams to deep dive performance and lead improvements. Your key areas of responsibility would entail Forecasting and Buying and the scope of your role will be cross category and cross country.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and deliver key GCC initiatives to improve inventory buying decisions and their business outcomes
• Partner with cross-functional global Amazon technical teams to determine and lead the Buying Automation process improvement roadmap
• Simplify complex issues in Forecasting and Buying into easily understood concepts and actions work with central technical teams to audit unusual use cases and deliver solutions to solve root cause explain complex Buying Automation issues succinctly with Category teams
• Assist Retail teams in standardizing SOPs for scenarios not yet automated centralize these processes with RBS/Vendor Operations teams.
• Advocate for GCC team priorities within the broader SCOT planning framework.
• Establish and monitor key metrics and reports to drive a strategy that continually improves inventory management
• Stay informed about evolving tools and algorithms for scalable inventory management identifying new opportunities for Amazon GCC
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall inventory management contributing to increased long-term free cash flow.
• Conduct in-depth business and data analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing revenue and profitability.

You will be able to balance innovative thinking with the ability to earn trust across a wide part of the organization. You will be able to work cross-functionally drive projects end-to-end build strong relationships as well as having demonstrable experience in senior stakeholder management. You will partner closely with Amazon teams across MENA Seattle Luxembourg and other regions around the world. You make smart decisions and are seen as an expert in your field.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of working experience in project management consulting or supply chain.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
