Job summary

Gardinia Contracting in Dubai is seeking a Plumbing Draftsman to prepare accurate plumbing drawings and shop drawings for landscape and swimming pool projects, translating concepts into precise AutoCAD drawings that meet project specs and local regulations.

You'll collaborate with Landscape Architects, Pool Consultants, and MEP teams, review tender drawings, and ensure drawings reflect water‑efficient, UAE‑compliant designs, with experience in DEWA and Dubai Municipality approvals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as Plumbing Draftsman on landscape and swimming pool projects.
• Mandatory UAE experience in landscape and swimming pool projects.
• Experience working within a contracting or consultancy firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plumbing layout drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) for landscape and swimming pool piping networks.
• Develop pipe sizing, routing, and hydraulic calculations for pool circulation systems, filtration, water features, and landscape plumbing.
• Coordinate with Landscape Architects, Pool Consultants, MEP teams, and Site Engineers to ensure plumbing designs align with landscape, civil, and pool drawings.
• Review and interpret tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs to produce accurate working drawings.
• Prepare equipment schedules, including pumps, filters, valves, heaters, and water feature components.
• Incorporate authority requirements (e.g. DEWA, Dubai Municipality, DDA, Civil Defence) into plumbing and pool piping designs where applicable.
• Track drawing revisions and maintain proper documentation and version control.
• Support site teams with drawing clarifications during installation and troubleshoot design‑related site issues.
• Ensure drawings reflect water‑efficient and safety‑compliant design principles suited to UAE climate and pool standards.

As a Plumbing Draftsma, you will be responsiblte to prepare accurate, detailed plumbing drawings and shop drawings for landscape and swimming pool projects, ensuring designs comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards. The role supports the design and site execution teams by translating plumbing and pool piping concepts into precise technical drawings for construction and installation.

• Familiarity with UAE authority approval processes for landscape/pool/plumbing submissions
• Good coordination and communication skills to work with cross‑functional design and site teams
