Job summary

Smart Bim Technical Services L.L.C is seeking a plumbing CAD specialist with 5–8 years of UAE experience to develop detailed plumbing/shop drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate across multiple disciplines on high-rise projects.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of MEP systems and building services, with good communication and coordination skills to ensure compliance with local regulations and project standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in UAE
• Preferably in facility management and high-rise buildings
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage
• Good understanding of MEP systems, building services, and construction practices
• Strong coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed plumbing and drainage shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop layouts for domestic water supply, drainage, stormwater, sewage, irrigation, and hot & cold-water systems and as-built drawings.
• Prepare coordination drawings, builders' work drawings, sleeve drawings, riser diagrams, and installation details.
• Coordinate plumbing drawings with HVAC, electrical, firefighting, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site requirements, and design changes.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations and company drafting standards.
