Job summary

Smart Bim Technical Services L.L.C. seeks an experienced Electrical Draughtsman in Dubai to develop shop drawings, lighting layouts, and SLDs for high-rise facilities. You will prepare DEWA submission packages and coordinate across trades to ensure designs meet local standards.

The role requires 5–8 years of UAE experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with MEP systems. Office-based work in a fast-paced projects environment with close collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in UAE.
• Facility management and high-rise buildings preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, building services, and construction practices.
• Strong coordination, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, lighting layouts, power containment, ELV systems, and SLD.
• Preparing Electrical rooms, LV rooms and detail trench layout.
• Prepare complete DEWA submittal packages including TCL, MD, and schematic layouts.
• Conduct spatial clash-detection and coordination between electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural layouts.
• Revise and update drawings according to site modifications and engineer feedback for As-Built submissions.

Electrical Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, lighting layouts, power containment, ELV systems, and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
• Preparing Electrical rooms, LV rooms and detail trench layout
• Prepare complete DEWA submittal packages including Total Connected Load (TCL) schedules, Maximum Demand (MD) calculations, and schematic layouts strictly matching DEWA standards.
• Conduct spatial clash-detection and trade coordination between electrical, mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and structural layouts.
• Revise and update drawings according to site modifications and engineer feedback to create accurate As-Built submissions.
