Job summary

Jumeirah in Dubai is seeking a Play Attendant for the Kids Club at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Create engaging activities, supervise children and ensure safety and care.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years in hospitality with childcare or sports background; able to operate POS; First Aid/CPR trained; strong communication with children; energetic and reliable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in hospitality with childcare or sports background preferred.
• Can operate POS systems and ideally trained in First Aid, CPR, and pediatric care.
• Communicates well with children and handles difficult behaviour calmly.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging and educational environment at the Kids Club where creativity is essential to ensure children enjoy fun and meaningful experiences.
• Lead age-appropriate recreational and educational activities such as arts and crafts, science projects, and group games that inspire imagination and learning.
• Ensure children’s safety, comfort, and enjoyment by supervising activities, resolving conflicts, and providing personalized childcare when needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment care while managing cash, inventory, and daily operations.
• Communicate effectively with parents, handle first aid or incidents responsibly, and use guest feedback to enhance service and creativity.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Has 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in hospitality, with childcare or sports background preferred.
• Can operate POS systems and ideally trained in First Aid, CPR, and pediatric care.
• Communicates well with children and understands their emotions.
• Handles difficult behaviour calmly with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, flexible, energetic, and detail-oriented team player.
