Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Factory Operations Manager to lead honey production facilities, driving safety, quality, and efficiency across all stages of manufacturing. You will oversee GMP/GDP compliance, regulatory inspections, QA labs, maintenance, and end-to-end supply chain while implementing continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
The role requires 5+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, a Pharmacy degree, and proven
Lead and manage all factory operations to ensure safe efficient and cost-effective production Develop annual production strategies and operational plans aligned with business objectives Ensure optimum utilization of personnel facilities equipment and production resources Monitor factory performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives Ensure uninterrupted production while maintaining the highest quality standards
Ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices GMP Good Documentation Practices GDP HACCP ISO 22000 UAE Organic EU Organic and applicable pharmaceutical and food manufacturing regulations Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures SOPs Ensure complete compliance with regulatory authority requirements licensing conditions and internal quality systems Coordinate regulatory inspections certification audits and licensing activities with relevant authorities Ensure all manufacturing documentation is accurate complete and audit-ready
Direct all honey processing filling packaging labeling warehousing and logistics operations Review production schedules and ensure manufacturing targets are achieved Monitor production efficiency product yields and resource utilization Ensure production activities comply with approved batch manufacturing procedures Review and approve Batch Manufacturing Records BMR and Batch Packaging Records BPR before product release
Supervise Quality Assurance QA Quality Control QC laboratory operations and production teams Ensure all raw materials packaging materials and finished products meet approved specifications Review laboratory reports product release documentation deviations CAPA and Out-of-Specification OOS investigations Support validation qualification and continuous quality improvement programs Promote a strong quality culture throughout the factory
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs Ensure production equipment is qualified calibrated validated and maintained Approve equipment upgrades and automation initiatives Minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning
Oversee warehousing inventory management and logistics operations Ensure full traceability of raw materials and finished products Coordinate procurement planning to ensure uninterrupted production Optimize inventory levels while minimizing waste and operational costs
Ensure compliance with occupational health safety environmental and food safety requirements Promote a strong safety culture across the factory Ensure emergency response procedures are implemented and regularly tested Maintain safe working conditions and environmental sustainability

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) from a recognized university.
Specialization or professional training in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Industrial Pharmacy, or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.
Knowledge of food manufacturing systems, nutraceutical production, or honey processing is highly desirable.
A Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Management, or Business Administration is an advantage.
ExperienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Experience in GMP-compliant manufacturing facilities is mandatory. Experience managing multidisciplinary production teams. Experience in food processing, nutraceutical manufacturing, or honey processing is an advantage. Experience in regulatory inspections and quality management systems is highly desirable.
