1. Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Record all inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, PPE, laboratory consumables, and finished products.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations.
- Perform periodic physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory turnover and recommend optimum stock levels.
2. Warehouse Operations
- Organize warehouse storage to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for honey, beeswax, packaging materials, laboratory chemicals, and sensitive materials.
- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of warehouse facilities.
- Ensure safe material handling practices.
3. Material Issuance
- Issue materials only against approved requests.
- Supply beekeeping equipment, hive components, packaging materials, maintenance spare parts, laboratory supplies, and factory consumables according to operational requirements.
- Track material consumption by department and project.
- Maintain complete traceability of all inventory movements.
4. Finished Goods Management
- Receive finished honey products, beeswax products, and value-added products from the production line.
- Verify production quantities and packaging integrity.
- Coordinate finished goods storage with Quality and Commercial teams.
- Prepare products for dispatch and customer orders.
- Monitor shelf life and stock rotation.
5. Procurement Support
- Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels.
- Identify stock shortages and prepare material replenishment requests.
- Coordinate with Procurement regarding pending deliveries.
- Verify received quantities and report supplier discrepancies.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Goods Issue Notes (GIN), stock transfer records, and inventory reconciliation reports.
- Support financial audits and inventory verification activities.
7. Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure storage conditions comply with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, UAE Organic, and EU Organic requirements.
- Maintain product traceability and batch identification.
- Prevent contamination, damage, or deterioration of stored materials.
- Support internal and external audits.
8. Health, Safety & Security
- Ensure safe warehouse operations.
- Report damaged materials, unsafe conditions, and equipment defects.
- Ensure proper storage of chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Maintain warehouse security and control access to inventory.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to warehouse layout and inventory management.
- Support implementation of digital inventory systems and barcode tracking.
- Identify opportunities to reduce inventory losses and improve operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or Warehouse Coordinator, preferably in agriculture, food manufacturing, or industrial operations.
- Experience with ERP inventory systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.
- Good organizational and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
