Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates invites applications for a Daily Operations Supervisor role overseeing apiaries, honey processing, packaging, and warehouse operations. Supervise and coordinate daily operations across apiaries, honey processing, packaging, warehouse, and support facilities.
Allocate manpower, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient daily operations.
Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed according to production schedules.
Ensure effective communication between field operations and the processing facility.
Supervise daily beekeeping activities, including hive inspections, feeding, seasonal migration, honey harvesting, queen replacement, and colony management.
Ensure compliance with approved apiary Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor colony performance and report operational issues to the Plant Manager.
Coordinate harvesting schedules with the Processing & Logistics Lead.
Supervise honey receiving, extraction, filtration, filling, packaging, labeling, and storage operations.
Ensure production follows approved production schedules and GMP requirements.
Verify production readiness before each batch.
Monitor production efficiency and product handling throughout the process.
Ensure all operations comply with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, UAE Organic, EU Organic, and EKTIFA operational standards.
Verify implementation of SOPs in both field and factory operations.
Support QA/QC inspections and laboratory sampling.
Report deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Supervise Beekeepers, Apiary Operations Assistants, Machine Operators, and operational staff.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings and assign work priorities.
Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and performance.
Identify training needs and coach employees on operational procedures.
Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Monitor operational condition of apiary equipment, processing machinery, vehicles, and facilities.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Technician for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ensure operational equipment is available and functioning efficiently.
Report equipment failures immediately.
Coordinate with the Storekeeper to ensure availability of operational materials.
Monitor the use of consumables, packaging materials, and beekeeping equipment.
Verify inventory requests and operational stock requirements.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
Enforce occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures across all operational areas.
Ensure employees use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Monitor safe handling of machinery, chemicals, and bee colonies.
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Support emergency response activities.
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
Monitor production output, harvesting performance, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs.
Report operational issues and recommend improvements.
Support management decision-making with accurate operational data.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in introducing new technologies, equipment, and operational practices.
Promote innovation and best practices throughout the project.
Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), or food production systems is preferred.
Knowledge of honey processing, beekeeping operations, or food manufacturing is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience supervising agricultural, food processing, pharmaceutical, honey production, or manufacturing operations.
Experience leading multidisciplinary operational teams.
Experience working in GMP-compliant or food manufacturing facilities is preferred.
Experience in beekeeping or honey production is an advantage.
