Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled electrical technician to attend breakdowns on LV/MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, and transformers. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a Diploma in a relevant field and PEC Craft Training, with about 3 years of heavy industry experience after the diploma.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Completion of PEC Craft Training is required or preferred.
3 years of relevant heavy industry experience after Diploma.

Responsibilities

Attend electrical equipment breakdowns and perform repairs.
Carry out planned preventive and predictive maintenance with minimal supervision.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot plant and equipment.
Order spare parts via SAP and maintain maintenance records.
Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and plant operations.
Mentor trainees and assist other departments as needed.
