Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep electrical machinery running efficiently.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read drawings, work with generators, switchgear and transformers, and participate in safety-first operations in a multi-cultural environment.

The role requires a diploma or Craft certificate with 5–8 years in power plants, and includes on-call duties and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in electrical field; relevant craft/trade certificates accepted.
• 5 years of experience in power plants and electrical substations.
• 8 years experience for craft/trade certificate holders.
• Hands-on with generators, switchgear, transformers.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains a wide range of electrical equipment.
• Conducts preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance with minimal direction.
• Assists Technician Engineers or works independently.
• Adheres to EHS standards and plant operating requirements.
• Reads electrical drawings and job instructions; follows safety rules.
